- Gather 40 pastel artificial flowers from the dollar store. Choose a variety of colors for a bright and vibrant look.
- Cut pieces of clear fishing line or thin wire to about 12 inches each.
- Attach each flower upside down to the wooden embroidery hoop by tying or wrapping the fishing line around the stem and securing it to the hoop. Space the flowers evenly around the hoop.
- Once all the flowers are attached, wrap the 20 feet of warm white fairy lights around the hoop, weaving them between the flowers. Make sure the battery pack or power source is easy to access.
- Use additional fishing line to create a loop for hanging. Check that it is balanced so the chandelier hangs evenly.
- Hang the chandelier on your porch using a hook if needed, then switch on the fairy lights and enjoy your beautiful creation.
Variations & Tips
To add a personal touch, consider using seasonal flowers or flowers that match your home’s color scheme. You can also experiment with different embroidery hoop sizes to fit various spaces or create a layered effect using multiple hoops.
For a more rustic style, replace the fairy lights with vintage-style Edison bulbs. If the chandelier will be exposed to outdoor weather, make sure to use weather-resistant artificial flowers for better durability.
